Yeah, i've tryed making traps with pistons but the thing about minecraft is you cannot crush someone.

I so badly want to play around with pistons to make traps for these guys... sadly the account I was sharing with my cousin is no longer available and all attempts to buy the game have failed :P Moments like this make me want to learn to build a self generating trap where it looks perfectly normal, then i pull a switch and a 2 block wide hole completely surrounding my home appears and anything standing on the spot plummets inside :D and then maybe I could make a glass wall for viewing below... and god I miss minecraft...

You need some traps set up outside. Maybe a water trap that will lead them to a room under your house where they can drown and drop all sorts of loot. I expect the same thing in 1.8 with Endermen included. Sigh.
